WARM COTTON is obtained by weaving the cotton thread (interlock) rather tightly on a special double-faced machine.
Some abrasive cylinders create a buffing (also called gauzing, from which the name 'gauzed cotton' derives) of the inner side of the fabric. It is this process that creates endless microchambers that generate the so-called 'warm cotton effect': the microchambers create a thermal cushion that maintains the warmth of the skin.
